This past week Debbie and I met with Brian Ruth, the publisher of the Chronicle of Grand Lake. The original purpose we had in mind was business with them for next year.  As we thought about everything, there was more to discuss.  Things beyond promoting our business. Of course we talked about business, but more than that we talked about working together to get the word out about Grand Lake and helping people.

Yes, we are all about Grand Lake and as we often say, “Selling Grand Lake to the World” . But what is all this natural beauty and great area for without sharing it. We have such a good thing going on here. The reason we have all these great things to do around the lake is because of the people here.  So we will be working together more closely with the Chronicle of Grand Lake, The Grand Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and the Grand Lake Association in helping get the word out about Oklahoma’s best kept secret and fun place. Grand Lake.

We also went to the “Grand Lake Live ” radio show ( FM 96.1, KITO) Friday which was held at the Pine Lodge Resort this time. It was also a Christmas celebration where we had the chance to see many of the movers and shakers around Grand Lake, see old friends and make some new ones. If you haven’t gone to one of these radio shows, do it. See the two “crazy’s” togther, live in action, and have a good time too.

I’m adding a Grand Lake Bulletin Board to a web site I built for Grand Lake www.OfficialGrandLake.com  and experimenting with a possible photo gallery with more than just pictures. I’ll annouce it here when it’s ready. These things keep evolving and getting better with time. Kind of like a fine wine.

Debbie and I have had ANOTHER GOOD YEAR with our business thanks to all of you and a lot of hard work. But to us the work is fun because of you.
