Enough about us for now. Let’s talk more about the real estate market at Grand Lake Oklahoma. Grove OK is the main town on the lake and directly west across the lake is Monkey Island OK. Monkey Island is where we live, partly because it is centrally located.  It reduces drive time when showing waterfont homes to everyone. It is also a fun place to be as you can find out from our websites. Waterfront home values have consistently risen at a good pace and we expect that trend will continue . We have not been affected by the falling prices of real estate in other parts of the country.  Homes on the lake here at Grand Lake are still a relative bargin compared to other areas. As with any market there are things which impact value which can be hard lessons learned and that is where we shine. We have seen unbelievable things over the years and have seen many who thought they knew the market better, who ended up paying the piper. Sad but true. Little things like the way a home is canted for the view can impact value. Water depth could be a factor. The list goes on and on.
